Equipped with Microsoft Office Professional 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access), our computers’ programs include Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to browse the web, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, Adobe Air, Greenshot, Paint.Net, and Picasa 3 and VLC Media Player. To log on to a PC, you will need your library card or ask us for a guest pass for your visit.

The computers cannot process patron downloads of programs or updates. If you have a request for a download, please submit it in writing to the Circulation Desk. We will support your request as possible.
Your documents will be deleted immediately when you log-off. There is no way we can recover your documents after you log-off.
If you want to save any documents, please save them via USB/flash drive, CD, ZIP drive or other online service, such as Google Drive, SkyDrive, Zoho.com. CDs-RW or DVDs- RW can be purchased at the Circulation desk or the Reference desk for $1.00.

The Hershey Public Library provides wireless access to the online catalog and the Internet for library patrons and visitors. Access to the network is free of charge.
